Difficulty

The route is very easy with hardly any hills. If the loop is started south via the dam road it is slightly more difficult with 1/2 mile of a fair climb, but the ride will still be one of the easiest rides possible.

The Route

Start from the Chatfield park entrance make a right and follow the park road all the way around the lake.  Follow the road as it exits the park and goes until Titan Road.  Make a right on Titan road and follow it as it curves south.  Make another right on Waterton Rd, this will lead around right again on Kasslier Rd.  From there follow Wadsworth back up to Chatfield.

Hazards

Although the path is on the road the traffic is very light and considerate of bicyclists. The traffic is heavier outside of Chatfield, but can be avoided by simply taking an out and back route.

The route is scenic and has almost no hazards. It doesn't have much difficutly so it is good for days you don't feel like busting a lung. In addition it is a route that can be taken year round since the road is usually clear of snow and ice even in January.
