Description The Deer Creek Canyon ride is a challenging ride that takes you through some incredibly beautiful scenery, where you will almost always come across a deer or two.
Difficulty It is only around 8 miles from the bottom to the top, but it is very difficult climbing around 1700 feet. The first 6.5 miles are are difficult, but then it gets even tougher until you reach the top. Of course if you are heading back at that point it is all down hill from there.
	The Route From Wadsworth and Deer Creek Canyon road ride west until you reach the summit, then turn around and fly down the mountain.
Hazards The first 3 miles of the climb has moderately heavy traffic, and on week days you have to compete with the trucks from the rock quary.
Overall Rating: The traffic is sometimes heavy and a little scary with some of the trucks, but if you can make it out on a weekend the combination of beautiful scenery and a challenging climb make it a great ride!
