South Kipling Trail

Description

The South Kipling Trail is a 9 mile long trail that runs along S. Kipling St from Jewell Ave. to C-470.

Difficulty

That trail has a few hills that all seem to come at the bottom of a busy intersection that you have to cross, but overall the ride is very easy.

Hazards

There are numerous intersections to cross, some very busy and dangerous, such as Bowles and Belleview.  Plus watch out for some crazy Prarie Dogs that will bark at you, but they are not too dangerous.

The Route

If you are heading north you can start the ride from the C-470 Trail.  If you are heading South you can start from Kipling and Jewel or the Bear Creek Trail.

Overall Rating: No stars

The path is more or less a glorified sidewalk.  Anytime you get up to a good speed on the ride, you are stopping again to cross a busy intersection and beyond that there is not much scenery to speak of.  However the trail is a good connection route for the C-470 Trail and Bear Creek Trail.
